ATR Aircraft is bringing SpaceX’s Starlink connectivity to its ATR72-600 and ATR72-500 models, certified by EASA for retrofitting. 

Air New Zealand will debut it in 2025, offering passengers high-speed internet for streaming, gaming, and video calls.

Pilots will also benefit from real-time weather updates, enhancing safety. 

With low-latency performance and minimal fuel impact, ATR expects this upgrade to meet rising passenger demand for connectivity and attract strong interest from airlines worldwide.
