DLResearch stated in an article on X that CurveFinance's decentralized stablecoin crvUSD has generated $18 million in fees and reached a market value of $66 million since its launch in June. As previously reported, CurveDAO has launched a yield based stablecoin called SavingcrvUSD (scrvUSD), with a deposit of $6.6 million as of press time. CurveFinance clarifies: "Since the cost allocation was switched to crvUSD in June, this fee has been incurred. crvUSD itself was launched in May 2023, and since then, more fees have been generated @itfermer

According to Cointelegraph, cryptocurrency payment gateway AlchemyPay announced that the company has obtained four new US Money Transfer Licenses (MTLs) in Minnesota, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Wyoming, bringing AlchemyPay's total number of US state licenses to eight. The latest license is another license approved after Arkansas in September 2023, Iowa, New Hampshire, and New Mexico in November 2023. @tufail14

According to Bloomberg, the founder of cryptocurrency hybrid service company BitcoinFrog has been sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison for laundering millions of dollars from the dark web market that sells illegal drugs. US District Judge Randolph Moss sentenced 36 year old Roman Sterling to 150 months in prison in a federal court in Washington. Prosecutors claim that BitcoinFog processed billions of dollars in untraceable transactions, some of which came from known dark web markets. Roman Sterling has been convicted of conspiracy to launder money, money laundering, and two charges related to operating unregistered remittance services. @fyihb

According to TheBlock, two Ethereum researchers revealed in a statement released today that they have resigned from their positions as advisors to the re staking platform EigenLayer due to controversies surrounding their roles. Ethereum researchers Justin Drake and DankradFeist posted on X platform that they resigned from their advisory positions to focus on the development of the Ethereum foundational network. According to Coindesk, a judge in New York has ruled that the criminal trial of TornadoCash co-founder RomanStorm will be postponed until April 2025 to resolve differences revealed by expert witnesses. The original trial date was set for December of this year. Storm's legal team has applied for an injunction to the US Second Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn the order regarding the expert witness, and its hearing is scheduled for November 12th. Storm is charged with three counts of aiding money laundering, unauthorized remittance, and violating sanctions. If convicted, he will face up to 45 years in prison. @drunky

Sophgo, an artificial intelligence company associated with Bitmain, stated in a statement that it has never had any direct or indirect business relationship with Huawei and has provided TSMC with a detailed investigation report. Previously, it was reported that the US Department of Commerce launched an investigation into TSMC earlier this month to confirm whether it provided chips to Huawei.
