Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has formed a multi-year partnership with Reuters to integrate artificial intelligence chat functionality into their platforms. According to Axios citing informed sources, this collaboration will enable Meta's AI chatbot to extract Reuters news to answer users' questions about current events. Starting from October 25th, this feature will be launched to US users through Meta's AI assistant on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. Through this integration, Meta's artificial intelligence can now directly link to Reuters news articles when answering related questions.
