@vwo US President elect Trump has appeared online in a New York court regarding the hush money case. According to previous reports, Trump may have been sentenced before taking office as the President of the United States. On January 8th, Judge Allen Gesmer of the New York Court of Appeals rejected President elect Trump's latest request to postpone the sentencing process for his hush money case. Less than two weeks before Trump's inauguration as president, if the sentence is not completed before the start of his second term on January 20th, presidential immunity may postpone the case until he leaves office. The court ruling means that Trump's sentencing is still scheduled for January 10th. However, Trump and his legal team have stated that they will continue to seek legal avenues to postpone or cancel the sentence. @iftikhar
