Really sad day.

Alexei Navalny’s brave defiance of Putin gave millions of Russians hope that the land, language, and traditions they love may be freed from tyranny.

A light of hope has been extinguished.

Why did he return to Russia after being poisoned?

He might have had reason to think that his arrival would mobilize the Russian public and deep state to effect change.
