Farcaster will need to handle 10,000 messages / second while staying credibly decentralized. That's roughly in the same order of magnitude as most global credit card networks.

The most pressing problem to solve is network sync. 

Hubs can achieve consensus without coordination thanks to CRDTs. But they still need to replicate and converge to the same state quickly. 

We use a combination of snapshots, gossip and differential sync to achieve this.

How do we comment on the bundles proposal? The Notion page is not open to comments as far as I can tell. (Been trying for days...)

I love the concept. But I would like to have been able to see the low level changes of the spec. How are bundles created (I mean message order, etc.)? Are they cached when received? For how long? What kind of metadata are present in a bundle?
