I think the new channels system can be a solution for you.

1. Post everything in a channel. It won't show up to your members followers. (narrow cast).
2. Use something in the cast (a hashtag? a special embed_url?) to tag the game.
3. d33m uses the tag to group casts the way you want them in sub-channels, etc.

Channels are FIP-2 anyway. You will just have to use a channel URL for parent_url.

Can #2 be the FIP-2 parentUrl?

This is similar to what @samuellhuber.eth suggested if I'm understanding.
The issue is not one of solving 'my problem' as much as every dev's problem.

The fact that any app dev would need to worry about what another app dev is doing is kinda nuts imo. Rollback FIP-2 or honor it as a context-container.

I'm being extreme & stubborn.

The App State seems like a no brainer if one expands the mind & separates from the need to 'win' at that app level.
