Nice. Do you two have any common hobbies? Jmac & I have a few hobbies we do together & enjoy. Bee keeping & now @weatherxm geeks. Both low effort more learning than doing. Pretty awesome to have a partner that’s at the same level of knowledge going into a hobby. all the best with 🧎

BTW, I was thinking about the combo. Beekeeping + WeatherXM. How do we bring them together?

I don’t. At one point I was going to install a flight counter at the hive entrances but that idea petered out. @bluclaat might have some ideas

Hi, there. I was wandering if there are any weather services/data that bee keepers need, that we could offer through @weatherxm.

Climate is always important with /beekeeping, youll want to target the professionals/universities who have remote operations they have to travel too. Lets say youre producing Heather Honey in the north of Scotland, rather than having to travel to the bees to see if they need winter protection etc. Its also a place that might not have accurate weather predictions, same with Manuka honey producers in NZ. The avg beekeeper will have their apiary in their back garden or close by, but maybe a local/national beekeeping associations would be interested in the temp and rainfall data.
