Farcaster

Nice, but how are other clients to parse this? It's just a text. How can the know that /farcaster is a channel ref, while /bin is me referring to a folder?

Can't you at least use embed_url="/farcaster" ?

Embeds are not ideal as we only have 2 (so Dan's cast above would be impossible) and of course you can't embed anything else.

The regex is same as fnames: [0-9a-z][0-9a-z-]{0,15}

We only highlight known channels based on channel_id:

At least, a special notation? like f/farcaster? Third party clients can scan the text for the "f/\w*" pattern and present it accordingly.

If we get enough conviction on channels, will incorporate as part of an FIP. Until then, just keep moving. :)
