100%. Not as an adventure, but as a dramatized study in politics and history, in a sci-fi context. Plus you can see the seeds of many more recent (the were written in 1951-53) sci-fi books and movies. Asimov is actual science fiction, not just fiction. Some of my favorite reads as a teenager. I also loved the 3BP series. Some very interesting concepts and thought experiments. Plus, probably the only sci-fi I've read that is not US-centric (or at least, West-centric), which I found refreshing.
