If someone built is, I would use it. Even pay for it.

An iOS native Farcaster client that does only this:

- Used Connect with Farcaster to get a signer
- Allowed my to pick frames from a list
- Displayed the frames and allowed me to interact with them
- Allowed me to turn frames to iOS widgets

I don't expect such an app to need a server-side component (or at most, it would need a minimal one), which means very low running costs for the dev.

For things that you use regularly, they are very nice. Especially since you can add them to your Home Screen, they are like mini-apps.

How important is that last bullet point?
I never use widgets. What am I missing out on?  I mean I’ve set them up but no habit has formed for looking at them.
