It looks like a 403 being returned from Base’s RPC? Pretty wild. You could try using Alchemy instead, would just be a matter of passing it in as the transport:

Setting the RPC URL to alchemy fixed it. OMG, this was so bad...

yeah, the public RPC probably blocks Vercel domains but allows localhost

can also get a free rpc url from coinbase dev console.

Get your own RPC either from QuickNode or by runming your own node
