I think that AI-generated content is like synthetic fibers in clothing. When it was introduced in 1930s is was state of the art and expensive. Then fashionable. Now it's usually considered cheap and second class, often blended with natural fibs to get the desired properties.

I already consider most AI-generated content as cheap synthetic content, and I have become quite good at recognizing it.
