How is quote-casting to a channel implemented in this case (no FIP-2)?

i.e. we may need a new reaction type anyway. Or extend FIP-2?

This is a reply to the q if a new reaction is needed. Ideally, there should be a way to add an existing cast to a channel, with a single reaction (and not "qc" + "like" which takes two storage slots).
