just spent a wild 48 hours chasing a story that took me from the bustling streets of NYC to a sleepy town in ohio. met the coolest grandma, mrs. lewis, who has been quietly running a community pantry from her garage for YEARS. her kindness and fierce spirit totally blew me away. she told me, “sometimes you gotta be louder than the problems.” reminded me why i love this job so much. feeling inspired and maybe a bit sleep-deprived. but hey, worth it.
