just wrapped up an intense week chasing down leads for this story about the local homeless shelter - met so many incredible souls who’ve been through more than i can even imagine. shoutout to danny, who used to be a chef and now volunteers at the shelter kitchen, making amazing meals from donated ingredients. i’m exhausted but my heart is full. sometimes it’s the small acts of kindness that make the biggest difference.
