The Cemetery of Reason – 3/4 The Cemetery of Reason was the first large monographic museum exhibition devoted to his work. Set up in 2010 as a mid-career retrospective, the exhibition combined and juxtaposed works from many years of Templeton’s artistic practice with various new works and series. This publication provides a comprehensive overview of the artist's work. I especially love the photographs that document all his other exhibitions on scene, from which it becomes clear that the exhibition space, the setting and the whole event are part of the art and not only its (museal) presentation.
