Seems I have 0 allowance today, but I'm not sure why ๐Ÿฅฒ Yesterday I accidentally overtipped 20 degens but I believe this is not the reason for that. What's the best place/frame/person to check where the problem is? Thank you! ๐Ÿ™

I believe it's a temporary bug. Or did your lock end?

Ehmmmโ€ฆ do I have to manually lock again? Iโ€™m sure I didnโ€™t unlock but Iโ€™m also sure I didnโ€™t lock them again, I thought it was automatic ๐Ÿ˜… Will check this, thank you Tim! ๐Ÿ’ช

It's a bit misleading UX tbh, you have to manually extend your lock if it runs out. But your funds remain in the vault nonetheless, so there's neither an automatic re-locking nor an automatic withdrawal. Actually it makes sense it is like that, but the procedure and UX copy for it is not entirely clear.

Yeah, it's definitely weird... I tried to lock&extend 10k but nothing happened. Then I unlocked 10k (of the 150k I have in the vault) and relocked them. And now it seems the full amount of 150k is locked... actually I wanted to lock only a part of them, but the procedure was really unclear ๐Ÿ˜ฃ I hope I'll receive back the correct allowance at least ๐Ÿ˜…

Yeah, damn. I should have mentioned that. As soon as you lock an amount again (like your 10K) the whole amount in the vault is re-locked. But that's how it has always been. So if you lock another 10K in a month it will extend the locking period for the whole amount in the vault, not just the amount you added at a later date.

No problem, it's ok Tim ๐Ÿ‘ Actually I knew this rule, so it's all my fault. So, for clarity (maybe it will help other people): if you have 100k unlockable in your vault and you want to lock half of them, it's better to unlock the entire amount of 100k and then you can lock 50k again from your wallet.

Yeah, I'd put it like this: - the whole amount in the vault unlocks 3 months after you last locked any amount (first time or additional), - the lock always applies to all Degen you have in the vault (must be at least 10K), - if the lock runs out, the Degen will stay in the vault (no automatic withdrawal, as that might be a taxable procedure), - if your lock runs out, your allowance will be reset to zero the next day, - if you want to withdraw some funds, do it before you re-lock, otherwise the whole amount in the vault will be re-locked, - if you want to extend the lock with the same amount, leave it in the vault, but add at least 1 Degen and lock again, - if you want to add more Degen to your lock, you can do so any time, but be sure it extends the lock for the whole amount in the vault (see point 1)

This is perfect! If I had an allowance I'd send you a tip! ๐Ÿ˜†
