I've never seen this book before and I'm always happy about casts featuring African culture or the African continent (as those are especially rare). Not that surfing is inherently African culture, but I'm sure it has its own exciting characteristics beyond the commercial madness that often accompanies it elsewhere. You don't hear much about surfing in Africa (with the exception of Morocco and South Africa), and if, only of some first-worlders hunting for the ultimate desert experience and searching for empty breaks.

Thanks. This book is very well edited and has a lot of background information on the surfing culture in Africa, which, according to it, dates back more than 250 years!
