Mate I can’t get past 1k consistently, what’s the secret?

Okay here it goes:

1. Apart from the icons I focus on getting as many surges as possible (they act like a free reset of the board, which can help you get your round’s symbol goal when you don’t have many turns left)
Here it is also smart to use all of your turns in the first rounds to get as many surges as possible. They will save you on later rounds.
2. The lower you move the pieces the bigger the effect is. Sometimes half the board clears itself while I only removed six pieces on the bottom. 
3. Sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don’t. 2000/3000+ is very manageable right now though!
