I recently discovered him. I was familiar with his son Dante though. I also discovered Pedro Asnar, he played Pat Metheny, right?

That's right, Pedro was Pat's percussionist and singer, although he's more well known in Argentina as a bass player (an amazing one). Spinetta is a different kind of animal, though. He's from another universe.
