yeah it has its tradeoffs but I still want more active people on the farcaster social graph 

hypothetically, warpcast could stay like a big slack channel while the users on the protocol grows but we need easier onboarding and less dependencies on warpcast for that possibility

What do you think is the biggest barrier for growth? I'm torn between "bull run onboards, product retains" vs "there's a key missing growth level outside of crypto speculation"

I've always found the programmable nature of the platform interesting, even without the crypto aspect. But potentially not enough.

Part of me also wonders if the end game isn't really a social network that onboards the masses to crypto, but some strange prototypical network state

I think there needs to be a new social behavior that's uniquely enabled on Farcaster.   Interacting with onchain agents on the TL could be that potentially.

Beyond that, I think the dependency on Warpcast (like SIWF) makes it very difficult for other builders to onboard people onto FC bc they are forced to download Warpcast in addition to whatever other app they're using.

@super seems to have got around this dependency but idk if others can without working directly with the FC/Merkle team
