@vmathur suggestion: I'm pretty sure some people are cheating, one way to prevent at least part of it would be to eliminate someone if they don't move the map for 5 seconds. That way if you check on google maps on the side you get eliminated

Just curious do you notice the cheating when you complete the level right away, or do you come back later in the day to see where everyone else played? Trying to get a feel for when this is the most annoying and why

I came back to play about one hour ago and noticed it was still the same session. So I checked the results and there was a big gap between people with 0-1km and others. Made me think that some of these people might be cheating (maybe I'm wrong ofc).

I think you’re right. I’m also going to try out a different style of level for the next one (in an hour) so will see how much cheating there is. also I think putting metres instead of km might make it feel a bit more competitive
