π Forbes : Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) owns 94 million BNB, around 64% of the total 147.5 million coins, reports Forbes. He accumulated his BNB holdings in two ways: initially receiving 80 million BNB with his team during Binanceβs founding in 2017, and later acquiring unsold ICO shares. Analysis revealed that Binance only sold 10.8 million BNB during the ICO, contrary to their claim of selling 100 million. The unsold tokens, now valued at over $35 billion, were transferred to CZ-controlled wallets. Forbes estimates CZβs net worth at $61 billion, making him the 24th richest person in the world.
