I don’t see how we make much headway in decentralized identity if it is still so precarious to lose my wallet or near impossible to regain a lost or stolen wallet. If you can steal the wallet that holds my soulbound NFT, what’s the point of that fancy NFT?

This gets better if you are using a multisig wallet. Losing access to one of your private keys is not a big deal in a 2 out of 3 scheme for example.

Current multisig implementations are still not practical enough to be useful in all cases, but we'll get there!
