ERC-3525 Semi-fungible tokens

This is a new token standard that can be useful in some cases, like for example for loyalty cards.

ERC-3525 tokens are backwards compatible with ERC-721. This means that exchanges already support them.

Not all data will be visible yet, but it is a good start.

ERC-3525 can have an ID and unique appearance just as ERC-721 tokens.

They also have an additional VALUE component attached that is fungible.

You can think of this as having a loyalty card with a unique ID and it has some loyalty points in the VALUE

This means you can have one smart contract for loyalty cards for several customers - say hotel chains.

Every hotel chain gets their unique SLOT and loyalty points can only be transferred only between cards of the same hotel chain.

The VALUE can be transferred between different token IDs that belong to the same group, or as the standard defines it, to the same SLOT.
