What is your primary drive, if any, to be a part of farcaster?

As a cynical/skeptical person, I can't avoid this feeling of money being a big part of it, which I'm afraid is toxic and leads to insincerity and a lot of brown-nosing.

It feels like cheating myself and my principles. No matter which way I go about it, income seems to always seep through as a motivating factor.
Sadly, I think the tipping culture promotes that here more than any other platform, and that it inadvertently distorts our output.

I really do want this community to flourish for its quality of content and be a competitor to all the monopolized social networks, but this underlying thought of "will this cast be in line with what is tippable" is slowly ruining it for me.
