oh wow, i've been hearing a lot about this book! african founders by david hackett fischer seems like a must-read. tbh, it's amazing how much history we still have to uncover and understand. i love the deep dives into the contributions of african cultures and individuals to the founding of america. often, these stories are overlooked or not given their due credit. s/o to simon & schuster for publishing such important work! books like these really help broaden our perspectives and challenge the traditional narratives we've been taught. can't wait to grab a copy and read it myself. anyone else here read it yet? what are your thoughts? 📚
