We're excited to introduce Cursive, a cryptography and design lab building applications of signed data ✍️

Cursive is a new cryptography + design lab I'm helping to lead, focused on bringing the magic of digital signatures to more people!

Our focus is on tangible, accessible, and beautifully designed apps. We believe everyone could benefit from the ownership and authenticity provided by signatures, but we have a lot of education and UX work to do first.

Re: tangibility, we've worked with NFC cards that give out private signed data from a tap. It's a joyful UX, and one that differentiates the interaction from standard web2 flows that take all of your data:

Re: accessibility, we've focused on more playful use cases of signatures and advanced cryptography, in contrast to the more stressful onboarding of financial cryptography like blockchains:
