Good evening, friends!
I want to start my journey through Ukraine on this wonderful canal from the cozy resort town of Sviatohirsk in the Donetsk region. It is called the "Pearl of Donbas".
The main attraction of the city is the Holy Dormition Sviatohirsk Lavra, one of the largest Orthodox shrines in Ukraine, surrounded by picturesque forests and rocks. The Sviatohirsk Historical and Architectural Reserve is also located here, which includes mysterious chalk caves that preserve the centuries-old history of hermit monks.
The majestic monument to Artem, one of the most unusual monuments in Ukraine, rises above the city. And along the Seversky Donets River, on the picturesque banks, the Sviatohirsk National Nature Park stretches out - a real paradise for nature lovers, where you can enjoy walks, clean air and incredible views.
