Uphold converts a number of stablecoins to USDC amidst MiCA implementation in the EU.

The exchange Uphold announced that due to the introduction of MiCA regulations in the EU starting July 1, it will discontinue support for the stablecoins USDT, DAI, FRAX, GUSD, USDP, and TUSD.

On June 28, all these stablecoins will be automatically converted to USDC.
