Seeing so much hate for this diagram that would have been accepted as common wisdom 5 years ago makes me sad, and makes me somewhat more scared for the future of the world.

I hope we can snap out of this mode of thinking soon.

A common reply I see is: "you just set it up so that your outgroup *is* the set of people doing bad things"

The challenge with this approach is that "people doing good things", for any reasonable definition of good, are not a coherent social group, or at least if they are, that configuration is very unstable.

And a common bad pattern that happens in real life, is that people become convinced that they've found The One True Ingroup That Contains The Good People, and then it turns out that either (i) they're wrong now, or (ii) they'll be wrong in 10 years, and they end up having a hard time coming around to seeing that.

Why doesn't the price of ETH go up? I had bought 1 ETH (in price 3570)for my wedding so that I could pay for the wedding, but the price went down a lot and I stayed in my expenses🥲
