Do you think the world will be able to get together and find away out of the climate crisis?

I'm expecting an outcome somewhere in the middle of (i) "things get solved from here because solar keeps getting better, and maybe fusion in 20y" and (ii) "we adapt, but lots of poor people needlessly suffer a lot".

Of course there's still a lot we can do to make more (i) happen faster!

Solutions involving global treaties, I'm more pessimistic about; we have a literal large-scale war going on, and the main belligerent can't even coordinate internally. Not really a conducive environment for that sort of thing.

(Unless the whole "sprinkle sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere" thing or something similar ends up working both technically and politically, but that's a moonshot)
