Tether launches USDT0 on Ink (Layer 2 of Kraken) to expand cross-chain transactions. This stablecoin uses LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) technology and Optimism Superchain infrastructure. When users lock USDT on Ethereum, the system will create the corresponding amount of USDT0 on other blockchains. Thanks to that, cross-chain transactions become simple, without worrying about liquidity or using complicated bridges.
