1. Net new market model on the bid side which lead to dominant floor liquidity. Which is where most trades happen 2. Didn’t honor royalties or charge fees, which saved traders 5%-10% 3. Trader focused UX, real-time market focused Market is top heavy with ~3K users driving most of the volume, the above won them.

Makes sense, just doesn’t seem sustainable for anyone except traders, or market expanding ie this is a weird/narrow definition of “winning”

I actually think it does help the larger market. Liquidity reduces risk to entrants. It was 0 or 1 before now there is an option in the middle. Makes the market relatively less riskier than before
