It has been proven that cats are many times more similar to their distant ancestors than dogs are to wolves. Therefore, it is dogs that are more developed and tamed than cats. Cats, on the other hand, at least got used to living next to people, became more sociable with each other and much more receptive to people. However, there is no evidence that they have changed more in the last few thousand years.
