HEIAN Today visited this gallery showing Seiju Toda work. Artist concept of creation is subtraction, making things simple to simulate viewer imagination. Fish, rabbit, and bird are all real life animal, and he waits for the rightl moment that it took him several years of making.

Thanks for sharing and bringing this artist to my attention, Vince 🙏 Stimulating the viewer's imagination and emotion through consistent reduction is a great approach to art (or design in any field and for any of the senses). I believe it is deeply rooted in Japanese culture, but I often experience it in Scandinavian art and design as well. 150 $degen 🫴
