Tether issued 1 billion USDT in the TRON blockchain

The new tokens were issued to "replenish reserves," commented Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino. He noted that the issue was authorized, but the funds to back the tokens have not yet been transferred to the accounts.

USDT capitalization in all existing networks exceeds $120 billion. Of these, $61.8 billion is on the Tron blockchain, $55 billion on Ethereum, and $1 billion on TON.
