Attacks on popular X-accounts continue. Over the weekend, hackers hacked the accounts of Litecoin, Foresight Ventures and LayerZero Labs co-founder Ryan Zarick. Hackers used them to promote memcoin scams.

Litecoin reported that his account with 1.1 million subscribers was compromised and used to publish fraudulent posts. Similar incidents affected Foresight Ventures and LayerZero Labs, whose accounts had tens of thousands of subscribers.

🫣 Hackers usually publish offers for new tokens or distributions, blocking comments to avoid exposure. Despite the rapid restoration of access to accounts, some users manage to fall for the bait and lose money.

According to researcher ZachXBT, since November, such attacks have led to the theft of more than $3.5 million.
