My daughter and I had just walked out of the school building after the admission interview. She looked around with curiosity, as if picturing herself studying here. As we strolled down the path, I asked how she liked it.
— Mom, I need to finish university, — she suddenly said, her voice full of confidence.
I stopped, taken aback.
— What? University? You haven’t even started school yet, — I said, surprised and unsure what to think.
She gave me a look, like I was the one saying something odd, then went on:
— Yes, Mom, I need to finish university, like everyone else, to get smart and do important things.
I stood there, wondering where this was coming from. She was still just a little girl who hadn’t even begun school. But her words sounded so serious... so grown-up🌟 2 replies
