What is luck?

In 2016, I bought $5000 in Eth from a friend while driving to Tahoe. Literally in the car while driving...we shook on it, took screenshot of price, and I setup my wallet that night.

By the spring of 2017, I had panic dumped some at a loss and rest at a gain around $20/$ETH. I missed the epic Eth run that year.

...but in the summer a different friend broke my ankle and totaled that same car*. I went carless and plowed the insurance payout into bitcoin. I haven't touched it since**.

*Separate incidents in the same week. We are still friends.

**There was lots of other degeneracy in that cycle but these were pivotal moments.
