When can we expect a unified user experience that allows us to access all decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and lending platforms across every blockchain? This would enable seamless swapping and borrowing/lending with maximum liquidity and efficiency.

Everyone wants the same thing, but, that UX can and will exist on a linearly scalable L1. It won't be possible across multiple independent L2's and chains no matter what. The sooner people realise this the sooner the industry can focus on building infra and dapps that can achieve max liquidity and efficiency.
