🚀 Building a Backend for a Posting App with Node.js, Express, and MySQL!
🛠️ Today, I implemented some key backend features for a social media-style app:
1️⃣ User authentication using cookies and JWT (JSON Web Token) for secure session management.
2️⃣ Created API endpoints for retrieving, adding, and deleting posts, including handling permissions for who can delete them.
3️⃣ Used moment.js to manage and format timestamps for posts.
🔒 Ensuring secure access and a smooth user experience!
🚀 Next up: Implementing a feature to handle likes on posts!
