Trump announced that his Decree on digital assets directs the presidential working group to create a strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies. According to the politician, in addition to bitcoin, it will include cryptocurrencies Ripple (XPR), Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA). In 10 minutes after the publication, the cost of bitcoin increased by more than 3% — from $85.17 thousand to $ 88.15 thousand. As of 19:00 Moscow time, one bitcoin is worth $87.55 thousand. Bitcoin has surpassed the $88,000 mark per coin for the first time since February 26 of this year.
The cost of other cryptocurrencies also showed rapid growth on March 2: Ripple rose by 18.7% (to $2.6), Solana — by 12% (to $156.8).
