NFT project Pudgy Penguins has emerged as the second largest capitalization in the segment, overtaking the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection. This follows from data from CoinGecko.

Over the past 24 hours, the minimum price of Pudgy Penguins has increased by almost 6% to 22 ETH ($86,147). Over the week, the index has added more than 44%. 

Capitalization reached $765.7 million against $743.8 million of BAYC. CryptoPunks is in the lead with $1.5 billion.

The increase in the price of NFT from Pudgy Penguins followed the announcement of airdrop of PENGU tokens.
