On September 12, the artificial intelligence (AI) development company OpenAI presented the latest advanced o1 model. To test its capabilities, the tool was tasked with predicting the price of bitcoin (BTC) at the end of 2024.
In an optimistic forecast, o1 believes that bitcoin can «survive a significant upward impulse» with a rise above the historical maximum. The conservative forecast assumes that by the end of the year BTC will be in the range of $80,000 to $100,000.
