Pro users can create their own AI Characters in Venice to chat with privately

Here's a quick guide to creating your Character 🧵

Step 1. Start building your Character

In the sidebar click “Characters”, and then click the "+" button in Characters to open the creation interface, where you'll find all the tools needed to bring your AI companion to life.

Venice.ai is a generative AI app powered by leading open-source AI models, enabling anyone, anywhere, access private and censorship-free generative AI.

Step 2. Add a name and description for your Character

In the first two input fields, please enter the name and description of your Character. For this example we’ll create Leonardo da Vinci.

4. Enrich your Character with knowledge 

In the Context tab you upload documents up to 5MB to create true experts in specific fields

Step 5. Start chatting with your Character

Click the blue "Save" button to create your Character, and Venice will take you directly to the chat interface.

Optional Step. Make your Character public

Head over to your Character’s settings menu by clicking the avatar. Click settings on the left, and you will find the Public toggle.

Step 3. Click auto-generate to generate a personality and avatar for your Character

In the Instructions tab you'll see auto-generated instructions you can then edit and fine-tune
