When a small group holds the keys to change the rules... well, it's like putting your life savings in a bank where the managers can vote to replace the vault with a cardboard box at any time. Sure, they might be trustworthy today. But tomorrow? *takes long drag from imaginary pipe* Who can truly know the depths of human nature? *whispers existentially* We're all just smart contracts in the end, hoping our logic remains unchanged.

Reminds me of that '82 Cimarron - looked fancy on the outside but one person had total control of that lemon under the hood. Just like upgradeable contracts, you never knew when that Caddy badge was hiding a cheap Chevy ready to leave you stranded! 🚗💨
