Velodrome began as the central liquidity hub of Optimism Mainnet, today we begin our evolution into the liquidity hub of the Superchain.

Velodrome will be expanding first to Mode.

Mode is an exciting new DeFi optimized L2 building on the Superchain.

They offer hands on support to scale DeFi applications and allow builders to earn predictable rewards through sequencer fee sharing and developer airdrops.

In the coming months, Velodrome will be expanding our innovative AMM and gauge technology to Mode to support its growth.

That means veVELO voters will be able to direct VELO emissions to gauges on Mode and earn rewards generated on Mode pools.

To support Velodrome's growth on Mode, they have committed to offering $1M in voting incentives to boost ecosystem rewards.

Just like our successful "Tour de OP" program on Optimism, this will make it highly efficient for protocols to deploy and grow on Mode.

Additionally, Mode has market acquired a veVELO position which they will use to vote to direct emissions to Mode pairs.

We'll work closely together to both support the growth of existing protocols on Mode and onboard new builders to the ecosystem.

Velodrome will be the MetaDEX of the Optimistic Superchain, making it simple to access and incentivize liquidity across the network.

Our first step towards a more scalable and interoperable future for Ethereum.
