UBS Asset Management has introduced its first tokenized investment fund on Ethereum.

Named “UBS USD Money Market Investment Fund Token,” or ‘uMINT,’ the fund is built on Ethereum 
 for various authorized distribution partners across Singapore, per UBS.

Tokenization is a process that converts traditional assets, like stocks or bonds, into digital tokens that can be managed on a blockchain, the decentralized technology underlying crypto like Bitcoin 
 and Ethereum. 

These digital tokens represent a share of the asset, enabling investors to buy, sell, or hold portions of traditional financial products more efficiently.
